Tucked away in the hills of eastern Albania, in the quiet village of Kotodesh, something powerful is taking root.
Here, opportunities are few. Internet is limited. Families often struggle to meet basic needs. Most young people believe the only option is to leave — to emigrate, to start over far from home.
But through the Digital Media Church Foundation, one small church in this village is becoming a beacon of hope.
We’ve launched a free digital skills training course in Social Media Management, right inside the church. Students gather three times a week to learn not just theory, but how to build a career online — from their village, with dignity.
Most of these teens and young adults have never used a laptop before. But now, thanks to your support, they have access to computers, online learning, and real guidance for the first time.
And it’s not just for the students. The classroom is open on off-days too, so they can come to practice, do homework, or explore new skills — something that was never possible before.
