Day One of Our Free Digital Media Course in Albania
At Digital Media Church, a nonprofit foundation in Albania, we believe that empowering youth with the right tools can change entire communities. On May 13, 2025, we officially launched our first free digital skills course — and it began with energy, curiosity, and hope.
On the first day of our digital media training, students learned the fundamentals of digital marketing. We introduced the four key steps of digital marketing, breaking down the process into simple, practical concepts. To keep things interactive, we held a short quiz that helped students reflect on what they had just learned.
What made the class truly come alive was the hands-on approach. We guided students through a real-world exercise in market research, helping them understand the importance of audience analysis and data in building strong marketing strategies. This kind of practical digital learning is essential for those who want to become successful freelancers, work in remote digital jobs, or even launch their own businesses.
The best part? This entire digital media course is 100% free. In Albania, many young people simply can’t afford to pay €500 per month for training. That’s why we’re committed to offering professional, high-quality education at no cost — thanks to donors who believe in giving back.
Our training center operates inside a local church, which serves not only as a spiritual home but also as a place for social and economic development. Through this model, we’re showing that churches can be hubs for opportunity, impact, and long-term community transformation.
We’re proud of this powerful first step — and we’re just getting started.
